After graduating in May 2008, I moved to High River along with my two cats Fozzie and Otis to start working with Dr. Dave Dempsey at Highview Animal Clinic. One year later I acquired a rescued racing greyhound named Sadie.
In 2010 I met my husband Joel and acquired a lab named Parker. We got married in 2012 and that same year we became part-owners at Highview Animal Clinic. In October 2014 we welcomed our first baby, a son named Lane and December of 2016 brought our second son, Frankie.
When not at work I enjoy playing volleyball, reading, camping, running, hiking, baking and making trips to NS to visit family and friends.

When not working, I enjoy running, horseback riding, hiking, camping, fishing, snowboarding, and visiting family in Saskatchewan whenever possible.

I recently completed a small animal rotating internship where I developed a strong foundation in emergency medicine, specialty care, and collaborative team practice. I’m passionate about mixed animal practice—it allows me to stay versatile and continue building my skills with both large and small animals, while providing thoughtful, comprehensive care to clients and their animals.
When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me exploring the outdoors—hiking, camping, or skiing—curled up with a good book, or baking something sweet. I have two beloved cats, Sally and Christopher, who bring a lot of love (and a bit of chaos) to my days.

When I am not in the clinic, you can usually find me fly fishing, camping, exploring the mountains with our dog Ruger, or visiting friends and family in Saskatchewan!

I have 2 cats named Nala and Baloo and a family dog named Arlo. I enjoy camping in the summer, curling in the winter, and spending time with my family.

I went on to complete my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. I enjoy working with a variety of animals, which has led to my passion for mixed animal practice.
I have two cats named Frannie and Harlow. In my free time, I enjoy being active through running, horseback riding, hiking, and playing hockey. I also enjoy more relaxed activities such as reading, crocheting, and baking.
