Please Call Before Entering Our Clinic
We would like to thank everyone for being patient as we navigate through the current pandemic. It has been over a year since we went curbside and I would like to provide an update.
For the foreseeable future, we will continue to operate as a closed door clinic. What this means is that we will continue to follow certain protocols.
- We will ask all clients to phone the clinic upon arrival in the parking lot and let us know you have arrived
- Someone will greet you and bring your animals in for exams and treatments.
Our goal has always been, and continues to be during the pandemic, to be here for you and your pets, and to continue to provide care the best we can. We currently have 5 veterinarians working full time and up to 14 support staff at any given time. We lack the physical space to have clients and staff social distancing in our reception and exam rooms. In order to keep you and our staff safe and healthy, and be able to continue to operate, we have made the decision to operate as a locked door clinic.
If we were to have a COVID outbreak in our clinic we would have to close for two weeks. As the only clinic in the area providing emergency after-hours services, as well as providing emergency services during calving season, closing is the last thing anyone wants to consider.
We are allowing owners to come in under special circumstances (euthansia, quality/end of life decisions), but we only have one exam room with an exterior door. We may not be able to accommodate all requests for owners to be present. Please ask at the time of booking.
Please bear with us during this challenging time. We are looking forward to the day we can open the door wide and let everyone in. As government rules change please look for updates.

Highview Animal Clinic has been serving High River and a large portion of southern Alberta including Calgary for over 25 years. From farm calls to house calls to in clinic services, if it is a dog, cat, horse, cow, sheep or goat, our dedicated staff make the care of your animals and pets our top priority.
We offer equine and small animal dental procedures, cruciate repair, simple bone fracture repair, along with a variety of surgical and imagining services as well as diagnostics.
We are also here should your pets become sick, or for general wellness exams and vaccinations.
